What I Do

I am a brand content strategist and copywriter with ten years of experience telling brand stories, crafting campaigns from scratch, and honing memorable narratives for companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 retailers.

What That Looks Like

Voice guidelines and content calendars to omnichannel campaigns (email, social, landing pages, press, advertising) and impact reports, I love to make sure every word and touchpoint in the customer experience reflects the best version of the brand telling it.

You only want to say what you mean,

but how you say it is how you seem.

Background

(Long Story Short)

I got my real start in writing and editorial as the Music Director for an independent radio station in Lawrence, KS. After making my way to San Francisco, I wrote, concepted, and strengthened my brand strategy muscles at Everlane.

When Everlane moved their Creative team to LA, I brought my small-brand-with-a-big-voice experience to Williams-Sonoma, Inc., owner of several big brands with smaller voices.

I’ve also linked up with former colleagues and good friends to work on projects for Buffy, Coyuchi, Well Advised Studio, Good Counsel, DSTNC, Freaks of Nature, and Magna.

Getting back to what got me started, I’m also writing Noo Outlet, my zine-idea-turned-newsletter centered around music editorial. If you’re interested in getting some albums recommended to you by something other than an algorithm, check it out!

Let’s talk.
